About Red Terror Martyts Memorial Museum

A great place to visit if you are a history lover. This place will surely keep you entertained by letting you experience the haunting horrrific history of Ethiopia. You can find in all the skulls, bones, instruments of torture, tattered clothes, bloody clothes, etc the revealation of  the history of the Ethiopian darker life when many people were killed in just one night in a gross  violation of human rights . Here you can see moving displays which will surely disturb you. It gives us all the related information about the derg regime in Ethiopia. The display cabinets are with human bellongings which are dug out from massive graves. The watch  which is hanging in one of the displays was given by the owner to his wife.

Must See

  • Here you can see all the instuments which were used to torture the victims.
  • A great place where you can learn about the Ethiopian civil war and how the people were treated in those times.
  • Skulls, bones, tattered clothes, photographs of victims will be a sad part to see.

1.3 km You can take Blue and White Mini-Buses.
