Anwar Mosque is the symbol of Islamic faith in the African Continent and Ethiopia . It is abeautifully and aesthetically designed mosque worth a visit for all Muslims. It is a big mosque with beautifully decorated walls and roofs on the inside. Once a grenade attack during the evening prayers wounded at least 10 people at the biggest mosque in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa but terror attack or no the mosque has been the cynosure for the devout since its very inception.
