About Ripley's Aquarium of Canada

One of the must-see attractions in the city of Toronto is the Ripley's Aquarium of Canada, which is home to a fantastic amalgamation of aquatic animals in distinct galleries, unique exhibits and one-of-a-kind experiences for individuals of all ages. They provide educational tours, camps, classes and holiday events to keep one's spirits running high for long hours. The Aquarium prides itself as one of the premier institutions for preservation and display of some rare marine species, keeping in mind their delicate habitats and maintenance of the same. To dive into the wonders of the ocean along with the family, this is the best place to experience it.

Must See

  • Canadian Waters, Rainbow Reef, Dangerous Lagoon, Discovery Center, Ray Bay, Planet Jellies and Shoreline gallery.

How to reach

Union Station is the closest stop. From there you would need to go to Concourse Hall and towards the Skywalk. Once you reach the end of the Skywalk make a left outside (just for a brief moment) and get into the building.

Tips

  • It is recommended to plan the visit outside of the peak hours - 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on weekdays and 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekends/holidays.
  • General admission allows the handheld camera; flash photography is strictly prohibited.
  • It is a great place to be with family and kids since it helps both learning as well as spending time together.
  • Dress casual (unless of course it is winter and you need to stand in the queue leading up to the outside), carry fewer items along, stay comfortable to be able to walk around and soak in the experience.
  • If with toddlers carry a stroller around the premises.
  • No need to carry refreshments as they are available on the site.
  • Wheelchair accessibility is available.
  • Outside eatables are not allowed.
