Saint Sophia Church is the second oldest church in Sofia. The city's name is derived from the church. The church is built in an early-Christian style, and many architectural remains from that time are found within the Church’s premises. Visitors can see icons of many historical saints, such as St. George and St. Vladimir. The church might look dull from the outside but the inside is mesmerizing and breathtaking.
