With 420-hectare of territory, there are ample activities and green space to keep everyone entertained and happy. Ensure that you take a leisurely walk along the lake, and cross over the little bridge to an accessible island. There is also a museum and a zoo to keep children entertained and engrossed. If you’re one of the lucky few then you will visit the park during the time of the annual wine harvest festival. This festival is held in the amphitheater area, which has a seating capacity of 22,500 visitors! You can also visit the Aboriginal park, which has samples of the native flora.
This spectacular park was designed in 1897 by the landscape architect Charles Thays. There is so much to do and see in this mesmerizing garden, that one day wouldn’t possibly be enough.
