Established in 2001 around the Costantini collection, the museum has in a short span of time become one of the top museums in the world for contemporary Latin American art and a major tourist attraction in Buenos Aires. The stunning museum building, built out of limestone, steel and glass, is in itself worth admiring and gives an early indication of things to come.
