The Jardin Japones is an oasis of tranquillity amidst the frenetic pace of Buenos Aires. Completed in 1967, the garden sprawls across 5 acres and is said to be the largest of its type outside Japan. The pretty garden has a wide variety of Japanese flora, including a terrific bonsai collection. Other distinctive attractions include an arching bridge, a lake filled with carp, splendid gift shop and the restaurant which serves authentic Japanese cuisine. A slice of Japan in Buenos Aires, the gardens are a perfect place to relax.
Beautifully landscaped gardens and greenhouse. If you want to buy souvenirs, there is a gift shop as well.
