Would you visit a place if it is the largest of its kind in Latin America? How about if it is the third largest in the world? Because the next name on our list of fabulous attractions in Argentina is just that! The Kirchner Cultural Center is possibly one of the most popular attractions in the capital city of Buenos Aires.
This used to be a historic central post office, which was converted into a cultural center in 2015. The scale of this 100,000 sq. meter cultural center is humongous. Spread across nine floors, the center is dedicated to theatre, music, dance, and art.
On your visit to this modern and diverse center, ensure that you see the Ballena Azul. This “blue whale” is a floating concert hall of up to three-stories high! It has the whooping capacity of seating 1,750 visitors. So, it is no wonder that its acoustics is one of the best, globally.
Apart from this, the cultural center also houses six auditoriums and a chamber hall. If given the opportunity, you should go to one of its two rooftop terraces to feast your eyes on the panoramic view of the city!
Center is about a 3-5 minute walk from Hilton Buenos Aires.
