About La Boca

No trip to Buenos Aires is complete without a visit to La Boca. Tourists flock to this lively neighbourhood for its colourful houses, tango dance form, street art, and souvenir shops. The highlight of the area is the Caminito, a narrow, cobblestoned walkway lined with shanties in all hues. This bustling lane is packed with street vendors peddling varieties of souvenirs and tango dancers performing right on the street. La Boca also has other interesting attractions such as the La Bombonera, the home of soccer team Boca Juniors, and a couple of splendid art museums.
