A Folklore of Yore; The Joseon Dynasty - their way of life, their people, their seasonal customs, the Shaman faith, the pastoral music, the Confucian spiritualism; recreated and re-lived for you to go back in time. The Korean Folk Village is for you to learn and think about an era gone by. Here, Time has left her footprints to be traced and retraced until you have been immersed in a unique cultural experience. So, walk down the village street and imagine how those people lived their ordinary lives with joy, sadness, and dignity; how they celebrated their harvests and their weddings; what was their food like; their tryst with their faith - and maybe, you will find something in you that is common with these ancient brethren who lived and loved their lives in the 14th century. This is folk history at its best.
