Million visitors annually - isn't that more than enough reason to take your family and friends to head out to South Korea's largest theme park. Situated in Everland Resort in Yeongin in Gyeonggi province, this park is operated by who else but Samsung C & T Corporation and is conveniently divided into five zones - Global Fair, Zoo-Topia, European Adventure, Magic Land & American Adventure. For food, souvenirs, and pictures Global Fair would be ideal. If your kids want to pet a goat or sheep, then petting zoo is where you should go. There is also a lion and tiger safari. Polar Bears, Sea Lions, Penguins will welcome you while Kosik, the elephant has been trained to trumpet Korean words. Annyeong Haseyo, pachyderm style - this is your epiphany moment.
Don't faint out of excitement because there is a lot left to be covered - a water park named Caribbean Park, the raft ride called the Amazon Express, the Mystery Mansion where you can shoot ghosts (including all your arch rivals in your previous birth), the wooden roller coaster called the T-Express, Aesop's village where all the characters from the fables come alive, the Ferris Wheel, the Log Flume, the futuristic flying ride and the robot ride. The American Adventure Zone portrays themes from American history, Rodeo, aptly named, is a western-themed ride. In Rockville, enjoy music from the 1950s whereas in Double Rock Spin live bands will play for you near the roller coaster called Rolling X-Train.
Annyeong Haseyo – “Hello” in Korean - Kosik trumpeting - time to leave the hotel. (Oh! and don't forget the bananas.)
The distance from Seoul City Hall, the City Centre to Yeonjin is 36.2 km.
It takes about 2 hours to reach Yongin by subway, 1 hour to reach by bus and 30 minutes to reach by taxi.
On reaching Yeonjin, the easiest way would be to take the subway, which will be cheaper. Travel to Giheung Station on Bundang Line and transfer to Everline! Get off at the last stop on Everline and take the free shuttle bus to move to Everland and Caribbean Bay.
