About Salam Park

In central Riyadh, Salam Park has become a popular tourist destination not only from the surrounding areas but among the people visiting Riyadh from across the world. Spread across a large area of 25 hectares, it's the location and its beauty has been winning the heart of every visitor. With a wide range of activities and the cultural display, it interests people of all age groups. The park also plays an essential role in conserving the environment of the city by providing a balance.

The park's design is based on the local culture, which dates back to the foundation era of Saudi Arabia. The experts and artisans who made the designs made sure that they utilize everything in a very natural way so that it is not a misfit in the environment. Making it as natural as it could be was the aim. Having counted among the successful parks, the factors that contribute to the success are its location, which is strategic enough, and a very well planned structure from its maintenance to its architecture.

The park has been designed by Omrania and associates and the British multidisciplinary company Aukett associates. Various amenities and facilities present in the park include sports fields, jogging tracks, bridges, public facilities, resting areas, three accessible entrances, a mosque, a magnificent lake, and the play areas. Visitors call it a place that is perfect in every sense, and the count of visitors has been increasing with the passing time. A fun-filled day trip with family at the park is recommended when in Riyadh.
