An artistic historic building housing a museum is the Murabba Palace. Built in the 20th Century, the palace had 32 rooms intended for the stay of the royal family. Murabba Palace played a very important role in framing the history of the place as the main hub of all administrative activities of the then king. Now, converted into a museum called a 'living museum,' it exhibits various memoirs of the kings and their family members. This includes garments, photographs, and crafts of that period, collection of memorabilia, historical recordings related to the functioning of Kingdom. The museum also exhibits some exclusive personal belongings of King Abdul Aziz, which includes his massive car collection including the original Rolls Royce that was received as a gift from Winston Churchill. The place is bound to take you back in the golden era of monarchs and imagine the flamboyant luxurious living that the royals indulged in.

Head northeast, turn left toward Dirab Branch Rd. Turn right onto Dirab Branch Rd and take the ramp on the left onto Dirab Rd/Route 505. Follow Dirab Rd and King Fahd Rd/Route 65 to King Fahad Branch Rd. Exit from King Fahd Rd/Route 65. Follow King Fahad Branch Rd to King Saud Rd. The taxi will charge 12 SAR to 14 SAR.
