The Barzan Towers were built in 1910 by the Emir of Qatar of that time. It was mainly constructed to act as a watch tower to keep a vigil over the soldiers who attacked the city. It is a beautiful piece of architecture. Apart from the towers, you will also find a mosque in the Barzan Towers area, which was also used as a school for students in the past. All in all, the place offers a rich experience of the past as well as the culture of Doha City.
