  • Staying in a car with a person of the opposite gender that you are not related or married to is also forbidden.
  • Drinking and driving even in controlled amounts is not acceptable here.
  • Display of bad gestures, use of vulgar language in public places can land you in trouble.

Night Life

Although Qatar is an Islamic country and has certain restrictions, Doha is still the right city to have fun during the night time. Here you can find many night clubs like Illusion, Black Orchid, and Crystal Lounge where you can spend the night dancing with your family or friends. Apart from the western clubs, you will find some Arabic-style clubs too. Nightlife can be quite exciting with the variety of clubs offered by Doha.
