The park is surrounded by some major monuments such as the Yangon City Hall, the High Court, and the Sule Pagoda. The park was christened in the memory of General Maha Bandula who heroically fought against the British in the First Anglo-Burmese War.
This park is covered in green tropical trees. The atmosphere is simply great for children to play around freely. You can see the local people, couples just lying down and relaxing in the grasses.
There is no must-see in this attraction. It is all about enjoying the lush green park in the midst of the hustling city.
It is in the city centre. Walking is preferable to reach this spot.
