Independence Hall commemorates the birth of Israel and features various dignitaries such as journalists, Jewish people in Palestine, and celebrates the day Israel's first Prime Minister made the historic declaration of the State of Israel. It is a small museum with people exhibiting their own recordings, a film to experience the story of the Declaration of Independence, and highlights the historic speech and recitation of Israel's national anthem. The visitors have the privilege to watch a 16-minute movie describing the history of the building. Its exhibitions also feature various pictures and wall hangings resembling those that were displayed on a historic day in 1948. The building was donated after the death of Dizengoff's wife who requested that it be modified into a museum. The Museum of Firsts, dedicated to the people of the wonderful country of Israel, is not a place to be missed.
