About Teeling Whiskey Distillery

Located in the center of Dublin, the Teeling Whiskey Distillery is the first operational distillery in Dublin to open its doors in over 125 years. Teeling Whiskey Distillery is Dublin’s go-to place for whiskey fans or for anyone with an enthusiasm in Dublin’s long association with Irish whiskey.  One can look forward to experiencing first-hand sounds, smells, sights, and tastes of a fully operational distillery, as the first Dublin whiskey is distilled in over 40 years. Each tour ends with a tasting of the distillery's award-winning whiskeys, with a selection of exclusive tasting options. The tour will remain a nostalgic experience for a long time.

How to reach

From Dublin city, you need to take a Taxi. It's 3 Km away and takes 13 minutes to reach via Parnell Street. If you go there by walking, it takes 28 minutes to reach there. By bus you need to take Bus no 27, 151 it will reach there in 15 minutes and it’s available in every 9 minutes from Dublin city, Clifton Court, Hotel Eden Quay Street. By train, it will take 16 minutes via Abbey Street Luas stop in every 7 minutes.

The bus in Dublin costs €1.55 by Leap Card and €2.15 by Cash from stages 1-3. By Luas, a single journey starts at €1.54, if using a leap card. If paid through cash, it will start at €2.10.

  • Teeling Distillery offers fun and well-presented tour where even a novice will learn the basics and a whiskey head will pick up a few new stories
  • Everybody is very friendly and open. The distillery shows best practice in Irish distilling and the tastings render to all levels of interest and expectation.
  • In the end, you get to sample the whiskey neat and a cocktail. Also, you are taught to taste it correctly.
  • The distillery has created a good visitor center which is well furnished and welcoming
  • You can get the guided tour at €15 per person
  • Parking is possible right outside the door- very handy
  • The tour itself takes about 30 minutes with whiskey sampling towards the end
  • It's a fully narrated tour with a perfect introduction for first-time visitors
