About Negarestan Garden

Mesmerizing and green. One of the most significant cultural and historical landmarks. One of the halls in the garden houses a museum. Built in 1802. Situated in the central part of Tehran. Used to house school of fine arts, a religious school and an agriculture school as well. In the year 1936, one of the halls was turned into a library. In 1958, the garden became the property of Social and Cooperation Research Institute of Iran.

How to reach

A five km distance from the CIty Center it can reached via road in 15 minutes through the Mostafa Khomeyni St.

  • Wearing comfortable clothes and shoes is advisable as the  visitors are looking to explore the Garden. 
  • Apart from this to reach the destination take a 5 min walk from the Baharestan Metro Station.
