Quaint and preserved. The Jamshidieh Park is an amazing place to spend some well deserved quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Helps relax people from their daily lives. One can also have their afternoon tea here or even breakfast from the many eating joints available inside the premises. The Park was mainly built as a private garden by the Qajar Prince Jamshid Davallu Qajar, who also happened to be an engineer, and it was constructed as a dedication to the Empress of Iran, Farah Diba. It was converted from a private garden to a public park in the year 1977. The wonderful waterfall and the pond in the park are its central features and the wonderfully designed open-air amphitheatre is also an amazing addition to the park as a whole
