About Macao Beach

Macao Beach is often cited as one of the most beautiful beaches in Punta Cana. It was recently listed by Unesco as one of the Caribbean's best beaches. It is surrounded by miles upon miles of seemingly perfect Caribbean seascapes. Walk on the fine-grain white sands, dip your feet into the clear, turquoise water and snack on local food. The beach has a good mix of both locals and tourists and you are free to settle down wherever you like. You will spot many beach vendors here. Macao Beach is a popular surfing spot and you might be able to see many surfers out on the waves. The north end of the beach hosts surfing lessons that you can sign up for. To see more of the beach, opt for a horseback ride, during which you can enjoy the picturesque views from the saddle.
