Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park is a pristine nature reserve covering an area of 1500 acres. The park is a private reserve owned by the Punta Cana Ecological Foundation. It is a non-profit organization created by the Punta Cana Resort and Club in the year 1994. The park houses a wide variety of natural flora and fauna and has twelve freshwater lagoons, five of which visitors can swim in. It has a petting zoo with many domesticated animals common in the Dominican Republic. The park also features an iguana farm. Guests of the Punta Cana Resort and Club can embark on self-guided visits here free of charge. All other visitors can only access the park as part of a guided ecological tour.
The Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park and Reserve is located in Punta Cana close to the Cap Cana Marina. It is easily accessible by car and as part of a guided tour.
