The Institute showcases popular cultural highlights, as there are several Congolese writers and comedians like Barly Baruti and Thembo Kash, along with musicians and dancers. Apart from this "Fête du Livre", there are exhibitions, concerts and other activities all year round. The library of the Institute is also one of the best in Kinshasa. It is a must visit place for art lovers.
