Cerro San Cristobal is a hill that is situated in Northern Santiago. It provides a captivating view of the city and houses the biggest Santiago Metropolitan Park, Chilean National Zoo, a Japanese garden, and two swimming pools. It encompasses a Chapel near the amphitheater where the masses are held. The statue of Immaculate Conception or Blessed Virgin Mary statue measuring 14 m tall rests on the pedestal which is 8.3 m high. The stunning statue is a national icon as it sparkles and dazzles due to lighting around it. Zoo garden may be an exciting place for families with children. Japanese gardens are exquisite with a plethora of plants which adorn the garden. Cerri San Cristobal has within its precincts the Santiago Metropolitan Park. There are snack bars and tourist shops providing you with an all-around shopping experience. The view from the hill towering over Bellavista is absolutely breathtaking.
