What was once used for parades and military events, Place d’Armes is now widely popular among tourists as a public park with soft grass, surrounded by some of the greatest historical monuments of Quebec City. Not only is it a good spot to soak up the ambiance of the city but also a great place to rest during your tour of the Old Town. The Gothic-style fountain in the center of the park with the monument of faith is an ode to Quebec’s history and is beautifully adorned with flowers. The park also makes for a wonderful picnic spot.
