About La Promenade Samuel-De Champlain

With more than 1,00,000 plants, this is a large green space that extends along the St. Lawrence River, including more than 1,500 trees. It is the perfect place for a multitude of activities. From taking picturesque photos to playing sports, visitors can spend their time in peace and serenity here. The Promenade Samuel-De Champlain is an urban landscape, originally presented by the Québec government to mark the city's 400th anniversary. The walk inside the park, which stretches for 4 kilometers along the St. Lawrence River, has been awarded many prizes and international awards for the high quality of its facilities. Enjoy the city’s fresh air, especially at night, with pretty lights twinkling during evening strolls.

How to reach

By car/cab: From the city center, it will take about 16 min to reach the park via Autoroute 73 S as it is 15.4 km away. 

By bus: Walk for about 2 mins (170 m) to Place J.-Cartier from the city center and from there, board the 801 towards Pointe-de-Sainte-Foy (Ouest). Once you drop off at Germain Des-Pres in about 24 mins, board the 13 towards Du Versant-Nord/Sainte-Foy Centre/Saint-Louis (Ouest). Drop off at Ross/2307 and walk for 700 m which will take about 9 mins to reach the location. 

By bike: From the city center, it will take about 45 min via Corridor du Littoral to ride to the location as it is 12.7 km away.
