About Centre De Ski Le Relais

A family-friendly ski resort, just 15 minutes from downtown Quebec City, Centre de Ski Le Relais is where one can ski days and evenings, 7 days a week. It features 33 runs, including 28 lit for night skiing, and 3 snow parks. They provide a variety of services like group rentals, private or group lessons, food options, and room rentals. During summer, Le Relais becomes an adventure center providing five high rope courses. Centre de Ski Le Relais is known for the surface quality of its tracks and is an excellent spot for a delightful skiing experience.

  • With a vertical drop of 224 m and 33 trails, there's plenty to do at Le Relais ski centre.
  • With beginner, moderate, difficult, and extremely difficult trails, every kind of skier can have a fulfilling experience here with over 25 trails lit at night for skiing. Especially for beginners, it has proved to be a great smaller ski resort to learn to ski and snowboard.
  • Look out for the pretty snow parks too!

How to reach

By Car/Cab: From the city center, the destination is 17.9 km away which will take about 20 minutes to cover via QC-175 N.

By Bus: From the city centre, walk for about 200 m (3 minutes) to Pr.-Édouard/1125. From there, board the 801 bus towards Charlesbourg (Est) and drop off at Terminus du Zoo. After that, walk for 170 m to Rose-des-Vents and board bus no. 34 towards Des Laurentides (Nord). Drop off at du Lac and walk for 1.3 km or about 20 minutes to reach the ski center. $6

By Bike: From the city centre, you could ride to the destination in 1 hour and 20 minutes via Boulevard du Lac as it is 19.7 km away from it.

Tips

  • Ski or snowboarding lessons are a great way to brush up on your technique and explore the mountain with an expert. 
  • Try to get there early to have a better variety of trails available to avoid crowds.
  • Prepare yourself with safety gear which you can also rent at the location.
  • Put sunscreen on before going to ski.
  • It is important to stay hydrated while skiing so carry a water bottle around.
  • If you're a first-time skier and aren't going around the trails with an expert, learn the board signs which you will see on the way for directions.

Tickets are based on the number of hours or days a person wishes to spend here. For two hours of time (which is the minimal ticket one has to buy), adults are charged CAD 22.61, seniors and teenagers are charged CAD 20.00, and a ticket for children will cost CAD 16.52.
