Poda is located south of Burgas city centre along with the international road to Sozopol. The name Poda was originated from a wooden raft, drawn by rope. A large variety of birds can be observed with specialised optical equipment. The area has a unique nature territory with hundreds of plants, bird, fish, amphibian, reptile and mammal species.
256 Bird species, rare animals of Bulgarian nature.
Take a bus from Sunny Beach to Burgas and then possibly a taxi from there. You could also consider a bus going to Sozopol then from the main road Burgas-Sozopol, it is towards the outskirts of the city next to the sea.
