The historical Brest railway museum offers a golden opportunity to witness the vintage collection of railways. It is an open-air museum, opened in 2002, where you can explore the gradual development of the Belarusian railways. The museum is located in Brest, Belarus, and also known as the Brest Museum of Rail Equipment. You can observe the uniqueness of the beautiful designs administered during the modelling and installation of railways. There are several retro-style locomotives -steam locomotives, diesel locomotives, and electric locomotives in the railway museum.

It will take you through the Soviet era to pre-Russian-revolution to the German era. It will also remind you of the steam machines of World War II.

You can also climb up to the train to have a closer look at the interiors of the tidy and well-kept old engines and carriages of the railway. It is a fabulous site to witness the history of the development and improvement of railway engineering in different periods. You can also explore the memorial complex Brest Hero Fortress adjacent to the museum.
