An epitome of the city, an iconic white sand beach and the most famous beach worldwide is Bondi Beach, Australia. Frequented by surfers, swimmers and joggers the place marks a dramatic scenic aura around its coast. It has a village ambiance and very few high-rise developments. The beach is roughly a one km stretch with fine sand and curling waves. One can even learn surfing at one of the most accredited Surf Schools at Bondi beach. With small cafes and pubs around the fun doesn't end just mingling with the sea waters. Engaging in its picturesque scenery and cascading water fronts the beach knows how to captivate one and all.
There is an express bus that runs to Bondi Beach from the centre of Sydney, and takes about 30 minutes to reach the beach. Trains operate from the city centre to Bondi Junction. Thereafter, there is 10 minute bus or taxi ride from the beach.
