Leave your stress and anxiety behind with a visit to the Thien Mu Pagoda in Huế. Also called the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady, it is a seven-story building that has come to symbolize the city. It is the tallest temple in Vietnam. Many folk tales and rhymes have been written in its honor. It was named after a lady who prophesized that a temple would be built on the hill there.
The pagoda is home to monks and some working buildings. Tourists may visit to wander the grounds inside the gates. Unlike other pagodas, it does not showcase many other Buddha statues, but it is situated on the Perfume River where two forks in the river join.
Feel spiritually revived in a visit to the tranquil Thien Mu Pagoda.
Thien Mu Pagoda is 6 km from the city center Hue.
