A 30-minute speed boat ride or 45-minute ferry ride from Pattaya, Koh Larn, is a peaceful escape from tourist-packed Pattaya. This small patch of the coral island with white sandy beaches and turquoise sea waters is one of the largest islands near Pattaya. Several white-sand beaches stretch along the shores of the island with various food stalls, restroom facilities, and plenty of water sports. Parasailing, banana boat rides, and underwater sea walking are some of the most popular activities. The island is small (4km long and 2km wide), but there are six different beaches to see, each beach having its own unique essence.
You can take a speedboat, slow boat or the normal ferry from Bali Hill Pier at South Pattaya.
