The enigmatic city of Singapore surprises one with its wonders to marvel upon, Haw Par Villa, the theme park is definitely one of them. Formerly known as the Tiger Balm Garden, this theme park is located along Pasir Panjang Road in Singapore. The theme park has over 1,000 statues and 150 giant dioramas that display incidents related to Chinese mythology, folklore, legends, history, and express Confucianism in its various forms. This Asian culture park dramatically sketches a vivid picture of Chinese traditions and religion. The pavilions at Haw Par Villas and other structures are inspired deeply by traditional Chinese architecture. The depictions of Ten Courts of Hell from Chinese folklore at the Haw Par Villa is something that brings many Chinese parents accompanied by children to teach them regulations of morality.
Haw Par Villa can be reached from the Haw Par Villa MRT station on the green line.
