About Pinto Art Museum

Pinto art museum is a contemporary museum situated in the pilgrimage city of Antipolo. It was founded way back in 2010, to exhibit the collection of the famous neurologist and patron of art, Dr. Joven Cuanang. The word Pinto means ‘the door” in the Filipino language. The main reason behind the foundation of the museum was to display that art is a medium that brings all the nationalities, the cultures, and the people together. Art does not belong to a particular religion or a community. The museum focusses on promoting worldwide unity among all.

The project was started by Dr. Cuanang as a way of expressing his passion for doing something for the society. He collected artistic things, and his passion got a direction when he became a champion in one such exhibition to showcase the collections. The collection of work at the museum includes works of various artists such as Jose John Santos III, Mark Justiniani, Rodel Tapaya, Marina Cruz, and Antonio Leaño. The aesthetic, cultural diversification has been presented so nicely that the demonstration of each artwork is simply mind-blowing. The artwork represents the investigations and modernist movements. No words can explain the beauty of the place. Mind-blowing and utterly breathtaking maybe two words we can describe it in. When Dr. Cuanang decided to do something like this, he had passions and dreams, and we can all see his love in the kind of museum he has built. A place worth visiting not just for recreation but to get yourself more information about cultural diversity.
