About Mount Mayon

The Mount Mayon is a sacred and symmetrical conical-shaped active stratovolcano. It is located on the large and beautiful island of Luzon in the Philippines. How to reach

Take the Recto LRT from Manila for 22 minutes to Cubao LRT. Walk for 11 min, approximately 948 meters to Manila Cuba, take a bus from here to Camalig Daraga and taxi from there to Mount Mayon

It takes about 13h 12 minutes and the fare would cost between 495 to 1,290 PHP

  • Don't go too close to the site of a volcanic eruption.
  • Carry DSLR to capture good quality photographs
