About National Museum of the Archaeology, Anthropology, History of Peru

This museum explores the history of Peru, from prehistoric times to the colonial era. The displays are well-organized and the amount of material available is sufficient to make it easy to understand. Exhibits are impressive, intriguing, and eye-catching for photography buffs. Check out the ceramics, figural stone carvings, obelisks, wrapped mummies, burial tombs, jewelry, tapestries and gold, and metalwork. Many exhibits are shown with scale models of the archaeological sites.
