About Miraflores

Miraflores, a picturesque district in the Lima province in Peru, is an exclusive residential and upscale shopping area. Miraflores is a neighborhood of modern glass-and-steel commercial buildings mixed with some fine old colonial homes and lots of green space. Beautiful parks and green spaces stretch along the cliff tops overlooking the water, and it's common to see hang gliders drifting from the cliffs and surfers in the waves below. Museo Amana houses a private collection of Peruvian ceramics and textiles. The Faro la Marina which is the most famous lighthouse was built in 1900 and serves as an interesting landmark. Get dressed in your best and take in the sights of this beautiful, eclectic and iconic district.
