About Museo de la Nacion (National Museum)

Museo de la Nacion is the largest museum in Lima. A strong and mammoth structure, it is one of the best places to begin exploring ancient history and gain an understanding of Peruvian culture. The museum covers almost all of the archaeological history of Peru, from its first inhabitants to the Incan Empire. The replica of the grave of Lord Sipan, the first of the Moche mummies found at Huaca Rajada in Sipán, Peru is the most impressive attraction at Museo de la Nacion.
