About Barranco District

Barranco district is otherwise known as the Soho of Lima, colorful, iconic and a district of character. Filled with popular artists and writers, there is no dearth for art, with plenty of renowned art galleries, cute boutiques, and coffee shops, the district is flooded with art and artists. Places in the South of Central Lima, Miraflores and the suburbs of Barranco have long been listed with artists and writers. Barranco boasts of some beautiful 19th and early 20th Century architecture and the authentic feel that comes in a place where locals far outnumber tourists.
