The delightful Ole Villa Museum on Lysoen was worked as a late spring living arrangement for the Norwegian Violin virtuoso Ole Bull in 1873. It opens to the general population in the mid-year. All the structures are situated on the east side of the island. The two degrees of Ole Bull's Villa can be reached starting from the first point and there are rock ways from the harbor to the estate. By the harbor, you will likewise discover Gamlerunet-an old Homestead from the seventeenth century. Ole Bull's vacation home was developed in the years 1872-73 and is very interesting in Norwegian engineering history.
His "Little Alhambra", as he called it, is viewed as having a high purpose in Norwegian historicism. With its onion vaults and outlandish ornamentals both externally and inside the high roof of the music corridor all perseveringly cut out of Norwegian pine. The estate develops like a dream, like a blue fantasy castle. The manor is open for guided visits. The visit takes you through the music lobby, Ole Bull's room, the predecessors' display, and the living rooms in the subterranean. The inside of the show lobby is the principal room of the house. The show lobby is ruled by ten cut wooden segments, and extravagantly improved cut wooden curves. At Lysoen all utilization of fire is carefully kept taboo. Don't hesitate to take photographs for private use at Lysoen. Inside Ole Bull's manor; photographs may just be taken without a flash and never during shows. On the 7 square km Island, you will discover beautiful nature, 13 km of trails shrouded in squashed shells, a gazebo, and on the most elevated purpose of the island, a perception tower raised to the memory of Ole Bull. Maps over the island trails can be purchased in the bistro or the gallery. There are smooth and dangerous curves by the shore, steep bluffs, and a lot of tree roots confusing the path. Lysoen with Ole Bull's manor was in 1974 given to the "fotidsminneforeningen" (society for the conservation of Norwegian Ancient Monuments' in Bergen and Hordaland), by Bull's American grandkid, Sylvia Bull Curtis. The historical center is run as per the giver's desires and aims. This Ole Bull's charming character and music greatness affected contemporary craftsmen and this can speak of the constant draw towards getting to this place.
