Ever since it was built in 1863, the Monte Carlo Casino has attracted visitors profusely. The place is a beautiful blend of a casino, the Grand Théâtre de Monte Carlo, and the office of Les Ballets de Monte Carlo. Built in the Beaux Arts architectural style of that century, the building is a picture of beauty and opulence. The casino is decorated in marble and bronze. In 1878-79, the casino transformed and expanded to the designs of a famous architect who designed the opera house. A concert hall with a sea view was added during the alterations. Also, the gaming rooms and public spaces expanded. In 1921, women's Olympic games happened at the casino's gardens. Three of James Bond movies were shot here at this casino. It's is one of the most historic and luxurious casinos around the world. It's always fun to enjoy a game amidst the richness and grandeur of the flamboyant casino.
