Found in Uxmal, in the Puuc Region of Mexico, the Pyramid of the Magician is a pre-Columbian and Mesoamerican step pyramid that has the honour of being the tallest construction in all of Uxmal. The Pyramid of the Magician is also sometimes called the “Pyramid of the Dwarf,” the “Pyramid of the Soothsayer,” and “Casa el Adivino”. In 1996 the entire city of Uxmal was named a World Heritage Site because of the significant cultural history attached to the building. These ruins are late Mayan architecture and art that UNESCO wants to see preserved. You will have to climb 90 wide steps to the pyramid (climbing of the pyramid of the magician is not allowed though). We bet the view from the top of the pyramid will be surreal. The stones of this monument are remarkably old and worn with narrow steps. This Pyramid is a part of Mexico’s significant historical contribution to world history.
