The Tomb of Hafez is the remains of the legendary poet Hafez who was recognized as the Shakespeare of Iran. The monument rises from the banks of River Rukn-Abad, making it a spectacular view in the observer’s eye. He was one of the greatest Persian poets of all times because of his literary skills in the early 14th century. The love poems of Hafez written with pure magic can be related explicitly to anyone when reading them. The tomb was built to honour his great works to Persian literature.

The tombstone lies in the middle of a peaceful garden setting surrounded by an ambience of romance and poetry. It is circled by an open pavilion of eight pillars and topped with a mosaic dome that dazzles gracefully at dark. At sunset, the tomb glows with charm, and the Iranians pay their respect to Hafez by reading the verses of his notable books. The flowers, trees, lush green gardens add dignity to the place amidst a cemetery. The Persian architectural style never fails to amaze us with different sizes of symmetric geometry pieced into one.
