How to reach

It is about a 15-minute walk from the city center to reach the Basilica 

Taxis are also available which will take you in 5 minutes but will cost around 1554 HUF 

Tips

  •  Tour Guide are available but one has to inform at least one week in advance by giving all your detailed plans at ebazilika @gmail.com
  • Car parking is free. 
  • There are quite a few good number of musicians around the Basilica - You may pay them what ever you wish.
  • The steps to the Central Dome are 413 in number so one has to keep that in mind while climing up the stairs especially the senior citizens.
  • The dome gives the visitor  an enchanting  360-degree view of the area. 
  • Use comfortable shoes since you have to go around quite a bit.
  • Persons with  vertigo complaints must avoid climbing up.
  • There are gift shops and cafes selling coffee and sweets inside the complex.
