Eger, the fallen castle of Hungarian is one living legend, though its residents the King and his people are now resting in their graves. This place was once home to many brave heart lions, the ones who protected it against wars and Turkish invasions. Sometimes we have histories printed on paper but real existing fragments on land has another spell to it. We all find a little thrill in knowing how once the great legends lived, this place is exactly the one that gives you an insight from the prison cell to the king's throne. Though this place has undergone a couple of restorations but it still carries the original essence.
This castle was attacked by Turkish men several times and several times it held onto its roots. In order to build more self-defenses the king shifted it on a rocky hill and placed the palace in a gothic outlook though nothing could keep the Turkish men from not attacking it again and so it was conquered by the Turkish Empire. The castle beholds many tales that you can only learn from the castle itself. This will be an adventurous tour, one which can make you learn about things you thought you only knew.
