How to reach

It is a 35 to 40 minute journey from the city center to the park in a private car

Bus ride will take 40  minutes from the city center which will cost      628 HUF

Train journey will be 50 minutes from the city center which will cost  670 HUF

Tips

  • The ideal time of year to visit is between March and November 
  • Since the area is quite large plan your visit to the place prior to your visit
  • Wear comfortable shoes since you may have to walk around quite a bit
  • Carry with you a change of clothing too as the park has got wetlands and in case you get wet the  extra set can come in handy
  • Try to take a carriage ride so that you can have a better feeling of the park and you get to see a lot more things
  • Try to collect all important phone numbers like ambulance, police etc from the tourst office which is very important for foreign visitors
  • Do not miss the equestrian events of the Hungarian Cowboys.
