Corfu Old Town, situated on the island of Corfu is located at the entrance of the Adriatic Sea.

All the sightseeing places in the Corfy old town can be reached on foot or by bus. If necessary a taxi can be hired.
Depending on where you are getting off, the price of the bus is € 1.20 for adults, € 0.90 for students and € 0.60 for children. 

The airport is also within a short distance. The center,  that is the Spianada Square, can be reached by car in 8 minutes. It is at a  distance of 3 kilometers. From the airport to the old town the cost will be around 10 to 12 Euros.

• Must visit for cricket fans because Corfu is the only place in Greece where cricket is popular. The Hellenic Cricket Federation, in Corfu, is the only Greek sports federation that is based outside Athens.
• At the entrance of the site is a shop, having certified replicas of exhibits, books, cards, you can buy. Apart from these, there are various other souvenirs and gifts. 
• There are plenty of bars and cafes, so choose from these for good food and reasonable prices.
• Wear comfortable shoes as plenty of walking has to be done.
• In the city center itself, there are two mini-beaches next to each other. Do visit these beaches, you get to meet the locals here and the beaches here are never overcrowded.
• Tap water is safe in Corfu but bottled water tastes much better.
• In  Corfu, drugs are not tolerated at all. Small quantities of drugs with you can result in lengthy imprisonment and a large fine.
