About Miniatur Wunderland

MIniatur Wunderland is the biggest of the small. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Wunderland has both the largest model railway, with 15.4 km of track, and the largest miniature airport in the world. The scrupulous attention to detail and the sheer scale of Wonderland are impressive. Spaceships and space shuttles, knights of the round tables and StarWars heroes can all be found in action here. Miniatur Wunderland opened in 2001 and has hosted about a million visitors a year since then. Expansion plans continue, with Monaco and Provence opening in 2020 with South America to follow. As a world within a world, Wunderland showcases the places, people, technology and transportation of the world. And just as in the larger world, there is undoubtedly something here for everyone.
