This is one of the best places to visit if you are an animal-lover. The animal closures are nicely maintained and the animals are well looked after here. You can see many different kinds of animals here. Choose between walking and seeing the animals, or take a train ride, which is an unique experience. The only thing is that the information is related in Spanish only. To see the main zoo, you need to go uphill, so the best option is to take the train ride. It's available every 20 minutes and you don't need to pay anything additional for this ride, as it's included in the ticket. There is an infant play area but it's advisable to avoid it, since there are a lot of mosquitoes and it's rocky. Take a rental or drive your own vehicle to visit this zoo. There is ample parking space. You can see elephants, tigers, lions, parrots, flamencos, snakes, lizards, crocodiles, and exotically coloured frogs and toads, all living in replicas of their natural habitat. The Zoological Park houses several species of animals including mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians, and you don't want to miss out on this experience to see them.
