How to reach

By car, it is 11.7 km from Santo Domingo to Los Tres Ojos via Expreso 27 de Febrero

Tips

  • Carry your own water bottle as it can get very hot during the day. 
  • Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to climb up and down a flight of 436 steps to see the lagoons. 
  • Los Zaramagullones is the most beautiful and serene of all the lakes. 
  • To see the fourth lake you have to take a small boat. 
  • Visitors can feed the fish in the last lake.
